Catherine "Kay" (Presti) Mccarthy's Obituary
McCARTHY, Catherine "Kay" (Presti)-Of Everett, passed away on December 15th, 2015, at 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Eugene E. "Gene" McCarthy. Loving mother of Diane C. Delorey and her husband Jim of Everett, Eugene E. McCarthy, Jr and his wife Dorothy of New Jersey, and Marie Dillon and her husband Terry of Everett. She is also survived by of 14 cherished grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Saturday, Dec 19th, at 11 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 770 Salem St., Malden, at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 pm. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Kay was a former member of St. Therese Ladies Sodality, the Irma Club, and the Sunshine Club. In her memory donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
