O'MALLEY, Catherine "Rita"-Of Everett, formerly of Charlestown, died on February 22, 2012 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was 81 years young. Beloved wife of the late Paul F. O'Malley. Loving mother of Bernice Stover, Rosemary Massey, Cathy Ahearn, Robert Flaherty, Debby Micozzi, Paula Doucette, Butch O'Malley, Scott O'Malley, and their loving spouses. Loving sister of the late Margaret Costin and the late Helen Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by 20 cherished grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed at her NH summer camp, where she was well loved. Rest in peace Mom, we love you. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Monday, Feb 27th. at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-8PM. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
