DORNEY, Bertha J. (Scott)-In Saugus, formerly of Everett, passed away on June 29th, 2013, at 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Verrill and the late Thomas Dorney. Loving mother of Jean D'Andrea of Saugus, Robert Verrill, Jr. of Everett, the late Michele Dorney, and the late Laurie Verrill. Dear sister of the late Margaret Voigt and her surviving husband Earl of Malden. She is survived by 16 cherished grandchildren and is predeceased by 1 grandchild. She is also survived by 6 dear stepchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, July 2nd at 10 AM, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bertha's memory may be made to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036.
