O'CONNELL, Barbara A. (Finn)-Of Saugus, formerly of Everett, passed away at her home on November 21, 2014, at 82 years. Beloved wife of Eugene M. "Gene" O'Connell, Jr. Loving mother of Kathleen M. Perkins and her husband Stephen, Karen M. Orlando and her husband Anthony, Kyle M. Strain and her husband Paul, Kimerbly A. O'Connell, Michael J. O'Connell and his wife Paula, Daniel J. O'Connell and his wife Nell, Timothy J. O'Connell and his wife Kristina, Kristine M. Davey and her husband Edward, Kevin J. O'Connell and his wife Kelley. Loving sister of Jeremiah Finn and his wife Adrienne, Sheila Larson and her husband David, the late George P. Finn and his wife surviving Judi, and the late Mary Morris and her late husband Robert. She is survived by 19 cherished grandchildren, 5 cherished great grandchildren, and many niece and nephews. Barbara was a great singer and dancer. As a young woman she sang lead in many high school plays. She was a talented seamstress who loved making things and spending time caring for her whole family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Nov 25th, at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield. Visiting hours will be held at the JF Ward funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Monday from 4-8 PM. A private burial will be held at VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
